Well again a very good morning guys.Today’s post is about connection of languages and the field of computing. We know that English is the most widely known language over internet and other related areas of computing. But in India a huge number of population can’t understand it and that’s why we need to develop a medium through which they can access all the resources in their own language. Technology Development For Indian Languages or TDIL is such an initiative by CDAC which is actively working to provide a better interface between the non-english speaking community and the field of computing.

Recently I ordered a CD of Hindi Software Tools from their site http://www.ildc.in/ and they provided it to me without any cost. The CD is also available for many other languages like Tamil Telugu Sanskrit Punjabi Urdu and many more which you can check at their site and order a free CD of any of the available languages.

Hindi And Regional Languages Tools By CDAC

The tools provided in the CD includes 16 tools including  keyboard drivers,Hindi version of OpenOffice and Firefox,Text to Speech Software,Hindi language transliteration tool. The tools cab be installed on Windows or Linux platform easily through its one click install interface. So guys if you wanna have a new look an feel of computing experience just get set and go.
